At St. Anastasia Kindergarten, we believe in fostering a love for learning through play and exploration. Our philosophy is grounded in the idea that children learn best when they are engaged, encouraged to be curious, and supported by caring educators. We value diversity, creativity, and individuality, ensuring that every child feels valued and nurtured.
Our Kindergarten Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to meet children where they are and help them grow at their own pace. We incorporate a blend of academic readiness, creative arts, and social learning to prepare our students for a bright future.
Curriculum Sections
Language & Literacy: We use the Fundations program, a multisensory and systematic phonics, spelling and handwriting program. Fundations ensures that children develop critical reading and writing skills through engaging activities and hands-on learning.
Mathematics: Basic number concepts, shapes, and problem-solving through hands-on activities.
Art & Creativity: Focus on creative expression through drawing, painting, and crafts.
Religion: We integrate religious teachings into our daily activities, helping children understand values like kindness, respect, and compassion. Through stories, songs and celebrations, we teach them about God, fostering spiritual growth and a love for their community and Catholic faith.
At St. Anastasia, our teachers are passionate about early childhood education. With diverse experiences and a deep commitment to nurturing young learners, our team ensures each child receives individual attention and support. Lead Teachers

Enrichment & Extracurricular Activities
We believe in nurturing the full potential of every child, which is why we offer a range of enrichment programs designed to spark creativity, enhance skills, and promote physical well-being.
Music & Movement: Weekly music classes where children can explore instruments, rhythm, and dance.
Library: Weekly Library visits help children develop a love for reading and storytelling. During these visits, children explore books, participate in read-aloud sessions, and learn how to use a library.
Technology: In our Technology class, children begin developing basic computer literacy skills through engaging, age-appropriate activities. Our goal is to foster curiosity in technology and teach responsible use of digital devices.
Physical Education: Activities focused on coordination and balance through age-appropriate games and active play sessions.
Art Class: Our art program provides children with the opportunity to explore various forms of creative expression.
Parent Involvement
We strive to build strong partnerships with families to support the growth and development of each child. We communicate regularly with parents through email and monthly newsletters. We encourage parents to volunteer by helping during recess time, in the classroom during our holiday parties, and in the cafeteria during lunch time.
